Election Information and Polling Place
The Nebraska Primary Election is Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Polls will be open 8am - 8pm on election day. You can find your polling place at the Lancaster Co Election website under "Nebraska Voter Check".
Remember, to vote in person you must vote at the polling place of the precinct you currently reside in or at the Lancaster Co Election office. You can find your polling place and get a sample ballot at the "Nebraska Voter Check".
You may vote in person at the Lancaster Co Election office through May 13, 2024 during regular business hours. Their office is located at: 601 N 46th Street, Lincoln, NE 68503.
Their regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Election office will have extend office hours Friday, May 3 - 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday, May 11 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Sample Ballot
You can also get a sample ballot at "Nebraska Voter Check". After entering your information on the Voter Check site, scroll down to the bottom of the page to locate the sample ballots. Click on the ballot for the party you are officially registered to vote as. For ex. REP = Republican, DEM = Democrat, LIB = Libertarian, etc.... If you are unsure which party you are registered as, that information can be found at the top of the page under your name.
Voter ID
This election you will be required to show valid identification to vote. You can find a list of acceptable forms of identification or steps to get a free ID to vote on the Lancaster Co Voter ID webpage.

Voter Registration
If you need to register to vote or have moved and need to update your registration you can find the information to do that at the Lancaster Co Election Voter Registration webpage.
The deadline to register to vote by MAIL or ONLINE is midnight on the third Friday prior to the election: midnight, Friday, April 26, 2024.
The deadline to register to vote IN PERSON at the Lancaster Co Election office is 6pm on the second Friday prior to the election: 6pm, Friday May 3, 2024.
